Very good. There were few people. The weather was good and the tour very pleasant. We were seated both on deck and outside the ship.

I would highly recommend Uber Boats. I purchased 2 Hop on Hop off all day tickets for myself and my wife with the intension of using them to travel up and down the Thames between various tourist locations, with the piers located at convienient places along the river, however due to a slight lack of planning on my account and staying nearly all day at the Tower of London we were unable to take full advantage of this form of travel. We visited London in late September when it was a little less crowded, we had very little queing for our chosen times of travel even though the boats were busy. The staff looked well trained and very good at their job, we felt as if we were in very good hands while on board. Uber Boats comes highly recommended from myself and my wife and if you do use them I hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did.

This was a great buy. We got a hop on and hop off ticket and was able to see so many sights because of this boat cruise. Conveniently it was also 8 mins away from our Hotel so we can go all the way to the tower of London and get back to Chelsea. What a great service. I would reccomend this cruise.

Things to know before booking your Uber Boat by Thames Clippers journey

  • Ticketing flexibility: You can pay using your Oyster card or contactless payment card (tapping in and out) for single journeys at a lower fare than buying paper tickets. If you plan to hop on and off, the 1-Day Hop-on Hop-off pass offers the best value.
  • No live commentary: Unlike dedicated sightseeing cruises, the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers service does not offer live tour commentary. It is primarily a fast public transport service, making it ideal for self-guided exploration.
  • Zonal fares apply: Fares are calculated based on the three zones (West, Central, East) you travel through. Always check the route map to ensure your ticket covers all necessary zones for your journey.
  • Fast, frequent service: Boats run frequently (every 10–20 mins on central routes), offering a significant time advantage over road or rail transport, especially during peak London traffic.
  • Check accessibility beforehand: While all boats are wheelchair accessible, three specific piers (Cadogan, London Bridge City, and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter) have limited accessibility or steps due to tidal variations. Check the official website if accessibility is a concern for your Uber Boat London trip.
